Sativa

Cannabis Sativa is the high powered, psychoactive side of Cannabis. Strains generally have very high THC contents which result in a more euphoric and mental high when compared to indica.

These strains are not usually used as a medical treatment for any mental or physical health problems as the high THC content takes away from the medical effects of other active ingredients; such as CBD, CBG and THCV. Sativa varieties make for the perfect wake and bake as well as being very supportive of creativity and inspiration.

One of the more common S. strains is known as Haze, which originates from the flower-power California of the 1960s. Haze is arguably known as the most essential backbone in our modern day S. strains.
